Apartment Interior Design Project, 83 m², Kyiv

Interior design project for an 83 m² apartment in Kyiv: a kitchen-living room, a bedroom facing the city, a bathroom in large-format stone. The kitchen splits by height. Lower fronts are white, uppers are walnut to the ceiling. Upper cabinets meet the ceiling, so no cornice and no gap are left above them. Walls are decorative plaster. There is no paint and no wallpaper in the project at all. In the bedroom the headboard runs into a walnut panel with a light cove behind it. Lighting runs on a track. The bathroom uses large slabs with almost no joints. In the living room the TV hangs above a long floating console. It has no legs, so the floor underneath stays clear. A dressing table is built into a niche by the bedroom window, with a round mirror lit along its edge. In the bathroom, open walnut cubbies sit above the wall-hung toilet, next to a tall cabinet up to the ceiling. The child's room is done in orange: wall bars, gym rings and a pegboard for shelves. The desk stands by the window. A low storage unit with drawers runs along the bed, so no separate chest of drawers was needed.
