What Clients Ask Before a Design Project Starts
We'll never meet in person. How will you design a space you've never seen?
That's how all 1,172 design projects in 48 countries were made. For us it's not an exception, it's how we always work. We need precise measurements, and photos and video of the space from your phone; everything else is decided from the visuals: you see every room on screen before you start building. Us being on site changes nothing.
Who takes the measurements if I'm not in the country?
If you have measurements from the developer, we work from those — nothing else is needed. If there are none, in most countries we measure the space ourselves; elsewhere we point you to a trusted surveyor near the property. Their work is paid separately — usually a small fee. All we need from you is access to the space.
How many revisions are included in the design project?
Layouts — 2–3 options and three rounds of revisions: at this stage everything changes easily, it's still just lines on a screen. For the visualization we build one main option and again go through three rounds: you look, we discuss, and change it if needed. Revisions don't affect the design project cost — it's fixed before the start.
How long does all of this take?
The timelines by service: layouts — 1–2 weeks, visualization with revisions — 3–5 weeks, drawings and specification — 2–3 weeks. The basic design project fits into 4–7 weeks, the full one into 6–10. We give you the exact timeline after the first conversation.
Can I hand your design project to any construction crew?
Yes, that's what it's made for. The design project album is a PDF you can print and hand to builders: it has the drawings, a specification with product codes, and the visualizations. Separately: we answer your crew's questions ourselves, at no extra charge, even if you're not building with us.
An item from the specification isn't available in my country. What then?
We design interiors and architecture in 48 countries and know in advance which manufacturers to specify. But if something turns out to be unavailable, we find an equivalent free of charge, keeping what you approved in the visualization.
What if the crew builds it differently from the design project?
If the error is in our documentation, we redo the drawing and align it with the crew — no talk of extra payment. If the crew deviated and you're on our supervision plan, we'll catch it in the weekly photo and video review and bring the work back in line with the project before it's too late. That's exactly what the turnkey plan is for.
What's the difference between the "Full Project" and the "Turnkey Project"?
The full design project is documents: you get the album and then run the build yourself or through your own site manager. Turnkey is the same documents plus the service of running the build: a work plan every Monday, a report every Friday, checking work against the drawings, procurement and deliveries, materials approved before installation.
How does payment work?
We work under a contract, with the cost locked in before the start. Payments are split by stage, and the schedule depends on the service:
- Design project — three payments: 30% at the start, 50% after the layout is approved, 20% after the visualizations are approved.
- Concept design for architecture — two equal payments, 50/50.
- Architectural visualization — one payment before work begins.
- Design supervision — billed monthly, for each month of support.
What languages do you work in?
German, English, Ukrainian, and Russian. That applies to communicating with you, to the documentation, and to talking with your crew: if the builders speak English, you won't have to be the translator.
I'm not ready to commit to the whole design project right away. Can I try it first?
Start with a layout — that's 10% of the design project cost, from €250 for a 50 m² apartment. We'll offer 2–3 options, and you'll see how we think and how we handle revisions. Continue, and the amount counts toward the project — you don't pay twice. Don't continue, and the layouts are yours to keep; you can hand them to any designer.
Will there be any extra charges beyond the quoted price?
No. The price doesn't grow along the way — the budget and schedule are locked into the contract before work starts. The calculator gives a ballpark figure that may differ from the final contract sum, but once signed, that sum does not change.
Can I see a ballpark price without leaving my contact details?
Yes. The pricing calculator works in three taps — property type, area, package level — and shows a figure right away. No phone number or email required.
Do I need to be on site during construction?
No. The design project contains everything the crew needs: drawings, a specification and visualizations. On the turnkey package we take the crew's questions on ourselves — you, we and the contractors share one chat, the crew asks us directly, and you step in only if you want to.
How do you supervise construction from another country?
On the turnkey package we check completed work against the approved project using weekly photos and video from the site, and advise the site manager and contractors. Every Monday brings a work plan, every Friday a progress report.
How much does an architectural house project cost?
Architecture is priced individually — too much depends on the plot, terrain and number of storeys, so there is no fixed per-m² rate the way there is for interiors. Tell us about your site and we'll calculate a price for your project.
What happens if there's a mistake in the drawings or specification?
An inaccuracy in the documentation is ours. We fix the drawing and align it with the crew, no talk of extra payment.
Will I have to communicate with the construction crew myself?
No. We talk to the builders, at no extra cost — you don't have to be the translator. The crew asks questions directly in a shared chat, you see the conversation and join in only if you want to.
Do you stay in touch after the project is delivered?
Yes. We stay in touch after the design project is delivered — not a formality, we're there to help if something stalls on site.
How is a restaurant or hotel project different from an apartment project?
In scope and in the development timeline — timing matters a great deal here. We design the space so it works for revenue, not just for looks.
