House Architectural Design Project, 314 m², Vienna

Architectural design project for a 314 m² house in Vienna: two storeys, a flat roof, a garage as a separate volume. The upper floor cantilevers over the lower one, so the entrance and the forecourt are covered and no canopy was needed. The house is faced in pale grey brick. There is no other finish on the facade. Towards the street the windows are narrow, a band under the roof. Towards the garden it opens with glazing the full width of the living room. The soffit under the cantilever is dark panelling.
