House Architectural Design Project, 325 m², London

Architectural design project for a 325 m² house in London: a concrete base with two garages, a living volume above it, a loggia behind timber slats. The upper volume cantilevers far forward, so the forecourt is covered from above. Nothing props the overhang. The cladding is vertical dark timber. The reveals are clad in it too. Windows are set deep into the wall and read as niches rather than openings. The loggia keeps the same slats: the view holds from inside, while the gaze stops outside.
