House Architectural Design Project, 567 m², Bern

Architectural design project for a 567 m² house in Bern: three linked volumes under pitched roofs, the garage inside one of them. There are no eaves. Roof and wall meet in a single edge, so each volume reads as one solid. Standing-seam metal above, vertical timber cladding across the walls. The garage gate is clad in the same boards. So is the front door. On the street side the windows are few and narrow. Towards the pond the house opens in full-height glazing onto a terrace.
